Once again, #TeamCOPEG was present at the 4th National Senior Roping Championship, organized by ANALPA and held during the week of January 24–28 on the grounds of the FIA.

This major tournament attracted many livestock families who visited our stand from different parts of the country. As part of our ongoing campaign to combat screwworm cases reported nationwide, we guided visitors on the importance of inspecting their animals for wounds—treating even the smallest injuries—to prevent the spread of GBG on their farms.

During the event, #TeamCOPEG handed out bags with screwworm treatments and promotional items to the tournament’s most outstanding participants.

It is worth noting that the Grand Final of the tournament was won by the team from Western Chiriquí, who defeated Veraguas, and the event was broadcast by SERTV. The best competitors in this exciting sport showcased their skills in a fiercely contested championship.
